Cherokee Street’s Cinco de Mayo street festival takes place on 6 blocks of Cherokee Street, between South Jefferson and Nebraska. Ride share & public transportation is our suggested ways of getting to Cinco. Check out the map to locate stages, activities, vendors and parking.

Public transportation

The Cherokee Street area is served by the following bus routes:
8 Shaw Cherokee* | 70 Grand | 73 Carondelet | 10 Gravois | 11 Chippewa

*Note that the 8 Shaw Cherokee Route will be rerouted for festival day.

Plan your trip on Metro Transit

Parking

Due to limited parking availability, we strongly suggest taking ride share or public transportation to the festival. Street parking is available on S. Jefferson, Cherokee Street east of Jefferson and surrounding side streets. Managed parking lots are available at the Guardian Angel Settlement Association at 3300 S. Jefferson.
